Heading to a tournament at Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland? Start with the official poker tournament page for the event schedule and rules. The venue is in Hanover near Arundel Mills, so search that area rather than assuming a downtown Baltimore hotel is closest.
Hotels near the poker room
The on-site hotel is convenient for breaks and late finishes. Compare its total price with nearby Hanover and BWI-area hotels, then account for parking or rideshare on each tournament day. A lower nightly rate can still be a good deal if the trip to the casino is simple; check the actual route before booking.
Compare hotels near Maryland Live for poker
| Stay area | Why compare it | Questions to ask |
|---|---|---|
| On-site Live! hotel | Convenience between sessions | What is the full stay total, and what are the cancellation and parking terms? |
| Hanover and Arundel Mills | Nearby alternatives to an on-site stay | Is the route practical at your finish time, and what does daily transport cost? |
| BWI airport area | Arrival-day convenience and additional room choices | Does an advertised airport shuttle serve only the airport? Confirm transport to the casino separately. |
Is an airport shuttle also a casino shuttle?
Do not assume so. Ask the hotel which destinations it serves, its hours, whether a reservation is required and how you will return after a late session. A complimentary airport ride can still leave a separate daily casino transport bill.
How should I compare tournament hotel deals?
Look for any current offer in the official event information, then compare the same dates and cancellation terms against public rates. Include taxes, fees, parking and venue transport. No tournament discount is guaranteed by this guide.

Flying in or driving
Baltimore/Washington International (BWI) is the natural first airport to compare for this venue. Check the combined price of the flight, baggage, and ground transportation. Drivers should verify current parking details with the property rather than relying on an old event flyer.
Plan for the game you chose
- Check your event’s start time, structure, registration, and any day-two schedule.
- Arrive early enough for check-in and registration; allow extra time during a major series.
- Compare hotel cancellation rules if your tournament plans might change.
- For a later finish, consider how you will get back to your hotel.

Live! hotel and arrival details: checked October 12, 2026
On-site stay: Live! Hotel is on the casino property at 7002 Arundel Mills Circle in Hanover. It eliminates a separate hotel-to-casino drive; allow walking time within the property to reach registration and the poker room.
Parking: the official hotel FAQ currently says hotel guests receive free self-parking in the garage or surface lot across from the hotel entrance. This does not establish the terms for an off-site hotel or another parking service. Read the official Live! hotel FAQ.
Arrival: BWI is the practical first airport to compare. Check a live route for your arrival time; road traffic and pickup queues affect the journey. Verify the hotel’s actual shuttle destinations and hours separately.
Stay terms: official check-in is 3 p.m. and checkout is 11 a.m.; early or late arrangements depend on availability. Confirm any hotel service fee, taxes, deposit and cancellation penalty on the specific rate you select. A fee waiver attached to one package does not apply to every rate.
What is the easiest stay without a car?
An on-property room removes daily driving to the venue. For a lower-priced Hanover or BWI room, compare round-trip casino transport for every playing day and a reliable return after a late finish.
